Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

This is the bat that will never break. The bat has a lot of pop and seems as if it's going to last forever. This bat can really improve the way you hit the ball with an aluminum bat. I have had it for 6 months and it doesn't have any chips out of it. A must buy for the serious baseball player.

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

I love wooden bats, but it seemed like every time i would use one it would get just a tiny crack and i couldnt use it anymore, then i saw the the TPXC271 Composite bat and just had to get it because i needed to get used to it because following my graduation i will be off to the Minors. Its great for any player high school or college to adapt to the transfer to a wooden bat if they plan on playing pro ball. I''ve had this bat now for 6 months and still has plenty of pop to it.

By Yannick Mardirossian from Glen Head N.Y. on 9/29/2000

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

This bat and any other wood bats are a most for hitting good. When you are at the batting cage you should use wood bats because after you use a wood bat in practise and when you use a metal bat in the game, then you will say it was well worth it.

Since our league switch ...
By Bernie Seymour from Nova Scotia, Canada on 4/16/2000

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

Since our league switch from the aluminum to the wood two years ago. The composite C271 and every other model of composite has performed better than any natural wood on a daily basis. We open one of each model at the start of the year for which the whole team uses until they break. Each bat last anywhere up to four to five weeks which total up to 12 to 15 games including BP. With one person using the bat it would last through our 36 game schedule easy unless you had a bad bat. We have not had a natural wood bat last through three games since we switched to wood. If you are in the market for a wooden bat to use or to practice the composite wood is the best product for your money.

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

Excellent feel and weight distribution. Recently at nearby batting cage a former major leaguer, intrigued by it, tried it and found it an excellent bat for practice.Wooden bats also improve wrist strength and power, when compared to aluminium.

By Jay from Annapolis, Maryland on 11/18/1999

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

I bit pricey, but a good bat. If you are looking to learn how to hit with wood, get one of these and build to real wood. Once you know how to correctly use a wood, you won''t need to use one of these, and then you can buy 3 or 4 with the same amount of money.

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

This bat is great for higher competitive leagues. It will quicken your bat speed especially if you go from wood to aluminum. I would recommend this bat to any JUCO or division 1,2,3 team out there.

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

This bat is horrible. It is hands down the largest pice of cr** I have ever bought. I got the bat and was very anxious to see how it preformed ... much to my suprise >It was the worst bat I have ever used. It doesnt feel like a wood bat! Its strong yes, but It is extremely hard to hit with. Do not buy this bat ... IT is awful. A major waste of money.

By Robert Schaab from Buffalo, NY on 10/10/1999

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

Hits just like a wood bat. I use it because it is cheaper than purchasing a few wood bats which may chaffe or break after repeated use. There is no risk of a composite bat being sawed off by an opposing pitcher. That''s what I like the most about it.

Comments about Louisville Slugger Louisville TPXC271 Composite Wood Baseball Bat:

I definately recommend this bat to a player who wants to jump to the next level. The c271 composite bat will save you alot of money and the hassle of always going out and buying a new woody because your other bat broke. I have had my composite for a year now, and i love it. I use it for batting practice and I am also using it in a fall wooden bat league.

This the first composite wood bat i have ever used. It was quite surprising to me how it performed like a regular wood bat. It is a big-time strong bat.

This bat is a wonderfully structered bat with a large sweet spot. I used this bat during a game this summer and after that game i didnt want to put it down.. the feel of the ball hitting the bat is unbelieveable. Everytime that u hit the ball you put some serious mustard on the ball. This bat is a great selection for your baseball equipment.
