It was easy to set up, but the takedown was not as easy as I had hoped. The video calls for two black bases, I was looking for something that looked like a baseball base. After a while, I realized they were referring to the base of the screen. The model I received was blue. I am sure the takedown will get easier with practice. I have four kids between 9 and 4, once I get the takedown worked out the only problem I am going to have is getting them to do anything but practice hitting balls. They loved it, and have been after me every night to set up the screen so they can bat.

Very portable. Easy to throw in the trunk and go. Also, a great way to practice hitting when the weather doesn''t permit you to be outdoors. Doesn''t take up much space. However, I suggest using wiffle balls indoors.

I am a Little League live arm coach. We use the baseball practice net and balls for Little League hitting practice. Not having to chase down the balls gives us more time to focus on helping the kids with their batting technique. The net is easy to fold up and folds up small enough to be carried in a car or pickup. The kids love it! A great product.

Wow ... when I first opened the box, I had my doubts about the product... I coach a 15 year old Babe Ruth team, and wanted to use it for T work during batting pratice. Setup was a breeze ...I used it expecting it to fall over ... when it caught all of the balls I hit and didn''t fall over I became a believer! This product is GREAT! I throgh it in the trunk of my car and take it to all of the games and pratices. I recommend this product for all coaches!

All in all, an excellent product. Once you figure out the set up and fold up of the net it is very easy to use. Better detail of peg placements would be nice. As with most people I had to find an alternate peg solution. I use mine for AAU, rec league and in my front yard. It travels easily and sets up in seconds. Perfect for practice or warmups before games. Our team can always do tee work or soft toss before a game when no batting facilities are available. I would certainly recommend this product.

The Juggs Hitting Practice set is great. The kids use it all the time and it really has improved their hitting. I would (and have) recommend it to others.I have found, through multiple setups and break downs, that the steaks provided to hold the net to the ground not as good as they should be. I replaced them with regular tent steaks.

The practice hitting net has helped a great deal with our 10-12 year old girls. They are now able to warm up prior to games woth real softballs instead of the wiffle balls that we used previously. I would recommend this product to any team needing a portable backstop/practice net.

This is my second JUGS instant backstop. I have used this in the previous two LL seasons. The netting wore over that time, and I had to replace it this year. Part of that was my fault because I left the previous one out in the weather for days at a time. It is easy to set up and take down. The ground anchors that are now supplied with the present net are a definite step forward. The practice balls and batting tee are of sturdy quality. Thanks for your fine service thus far. The JUGS hitting net is working out well. However, after several uses, the net supporting structure tends to bend out of its original shape. This is most likely due to bending the supports when folding the net up and placing it in the JUGS carrying case. The net should be used with adult supervision. Most young kids (ages - 10 to 13) would have difficulty folding the net up.

I use this net for a team of 13-14 year olds. It is portable and the kids love it. It was well worth the money!

The Hitting Practice Package is used by my children. The package included the net, batting tee, and 2 dozen balls. They can set up and take down this net by themselves. They use the net for both batting and pitching practice.My children practice for hours with this package.They can work together or alone. We bought two of these sets for our Little League fields. What a great deal!Instead of whiffle balls, the teams warm-up with this set-up. Cuts down on chasing balls, and gives the batters a feel for hitting. For a better soft tossdrill try tossing from dircectly behind the hitter (from the catchers position).Really improves bat speed.

The product is a very versatile, useful tool. I use it for home and team practice. I use it for tee drills, soft-toss and as a backstop. It stops almost everything. It is easy to open and store. It actually takes up less space in my car than I expected. The only problem I find is the pegs are cumbersome due to the threaded (screw-type) insertion.

This is a very good hitting tool. We use it for soft toss and hitting off a tee. The t-handle stakes provided with the net are pretty useless though.
