I am practicing to compete on a roller derby team. The design of these skates are horrible and very dangerous. You can not replace the plates because of the way they are designed. Also the pleather goes quickly. My laces tore in half on their second use. The toe stops are huge and have caused me to trip many times giving me rink rash. These skates are highly unrecommended!
